Regulation

With age and use, the many felts of the action compress and become worn. This affects more than just the hammers. Screws need to be tightened and adjusted, sometimes felts replaced, and lubricated.

A fine regulation will restore a piano to an almost new condition and bring back the quality of performance allowing for the softest pianissimos and the loudest fortes.

Repairs

The sticky key. The common reason for all tuning calls. Only a qualified technician will be able to determine if the reason is a minor repair or in need of some greater attention.

Tuning

Tuning needs to be performed on a regular basis to ensure the best quality of  pitch. Once or tiwice a year is sufficient for the average piano player. Teachers and advanced students will want a tuning more often.
